Singer/Songwriter/Producer/Single Dad

Ryan Welch aka Clef God is a single dad in Texas trying to get his daughter a mansion with one song. As a producer and singer/songwriter himself he develops and produces a multitude of other artists as well with one mission: to leave an impact on the music industry for decades to come.

In 2018 Clef met The Co-Stars in LA who started syncing his records in TV and Film. In 2019 he landed his first placement on the show “Power” season 6 with the record “I Need That” which he produced, wrote, engineered and featured on alongside one of his artists he was developing named Imani.

By 2020 Welch had started producing records and shooting/directing videos for Hollywood A-listers including Snow Tha Product and AJ Hernz for whom he produced/engineered the records “Talk Back” and “Diamond Dance” and shot/directed the videos for both.

In 2022 Clef released his debut self produced album ‘The Fire’ which debuted at #8 on the iTunes Charts and landed a sync placement on HBO’s ‘The Hype’ season 2 with his record “The Door” thanks to The Co-stars. In addition he landed 2 more placements that season with 2 records he produced/wrote/engineered called “Harded” and “We Did It”. The same month he landed another sync placement with Imani on Tyler Perry’s “All The Queens Men” on BET with the record “Gold Skin” which he also produced/wrote/engineered.

In 2023 Clef dropped his self produced EP ‘Blockbuster’ which debuted at #6 on the iTunes Charts and from which he landed yet another placement on the new hit show ‘Bel-Air’ season 2 on peacock with his record “All The Bad Bitches Live In LA”.

In 2024 the super producer landed 8 more instrumental placements on Netflix’s ‘Rhythm + Flow’ season 2 and in 2025 he landed another placement for “Gold Skin” with Imani on Lifetime Network film “Family Affair” starring Mary J Blige.

Currently Clef is working closely with artists including Frankie J, Louie TheSinger, Krystal Poppin and others on a big catalogue of game changers thanks to his partner and collaborator Smooth Vega who manages such acts and executive produces big records , and Clef and Vega are currently developing acts like Cris Waters and J Bookout , young upcoming talent guaranteed to break the mold.
