David was the Promoter, Booker and Referee for World Class Championship Wrestling. David
was one of the key figures in taking wrestling and the Von Erich’s to the World Stage. David put
together International and US Based tours setting 3 attendance records including over 40,000
fans at the 1984 Parade Of Champions at the Texas Stadium in Irving Texas. Over a 10-year
period David created stories and finishes that helped take WCCW from 8 million per year to
over 100 million per Year in revenue.
With hundreds of hours of TV exposure in the 70’s and 80’s David quickly became a Wrestling
Celebrity and was one of the Host of the EasterSeals Telethon for 12 straight years. David is still
asked to do speak on numerous wrestling podcast and has been in 2 different seasons and 4
episodes of the highly rated TV show Dark Side of The Ring.
David bought TravelWorks International in the year 2000 and rebranded to Traverus Travel in
2006. Over the next 15 years Traverus has created two affiliate companies, Traverus Global and
Xstream Travel, and is now one of the top Travel Agent Host companies and has created one of
the most successful online travel agent trainings with Xstream Travel University.
David is a motivational speaker using his speaking talents to help people believe in themselves
and reach success through helping others.
