Host/Founder/Activist/Blogger
Kylie Montigney is a Host/ Reporter/Founder and activist from Scranton, Pennsylvania. Growing up, Kylie had two cousins that worked for her local news station in Northeastern PA and when she will hear them talking about stories they covered, people they interviewed, etc she felt so inspired by what they do that she decided to do it herself. She has gained well deserved attention as a Podcast Host. Kylie started a podcast on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcast, and Amazon Music or whatever you get your podcast in April 2021 as a 14-year-old. Today she has over a couple thousand listeners on her podcast and a world- wide fan base. She got to interview some big stars like Madison Watkins, Caitlin Wachs, Madeline the Person, Brianne Davis, Gilles Marini, Gabrielle Stone, and so much more. What sets Kylie apart from different hosts is that she is open about her experience with anxiety and depression, and she also works hard for her dreams. Kylie releases episodes every week on her podcast and has had over 100 guests on her show. She hopes to inspire younger generations that they can be anything in the world and no one can stop them. Since May 2022 she has brought her talent to New Scene Magazine as she is an Entertainment editor. She is very passionate about Women's rights in the media, so she hopes to bring awareness and give people more opportunities on her podcast & her platform. As she is very passionate about Women's rights, she founded a non-Profit organization called Empower Girls dedicated to end Gender Bias & Inclusion in the media! They're motto is "If They can, you can". She will often times talk with Politicians, Activists, etc and host events to help make change throughout the industry. In April 2022, Kylie won the April Power Recipient from the All rise foundation, and I can help for her work in the Entertainment industry & spreading kindness on her platform. Besides from being a Host and Founder Kylie has loved sports since she was a little girl as she was born into a sports family, she would often go support her Los Angeles Dodgers, Penn State Nittany Lions, and Seattle Seahawks on her free time. As of 2022, Kylie is in a process of writing a memoir.
