Alex Benavidez was a first-generation college student who studied dance and business marketing at Texas Women's University. She has had 10+ years of experience directing her company Wrk'n Progress that has won numerous choreography awards and first places, while also being the hip hop teacher for several dance studios. She also currently directs the Texas Live Lonestar’s pro dance team that she founded as well as directs the Dallas Skyline Flygirls. She has been a well-known choreographer for local Dallas artists such as B-Hamp aka Mr. Ricky Bobby, B. Simone, and many more. She has choreographed and danced in music videos and shows from MTV to BET. She danced and choreographed for the two-time Grammy award winner "PlaynSkillz" whom she toured with and danced for the two multi-talented Latino Brothers for over 3 years. She later got the opportunity to choreograph an international music video for Reggaeton artist Daddy Yankee and PlayNSkillz. She packs on years of knowledge and experience in the dance community as a dancer, choreographer, director, and now a singer/artist, becoming a multi-threat creative.
