Raya graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in Journalism. While at UA, she served as a cheerleader while also broadcasting/ coordinating the media coverage for Crimson Tide Productions, SEC Nation and ESPN.
Raya grew up in Orange County, California where most of her family currently resides.
She discovered her strong love of sports and broadcasting at an early age as well as, developed a deep passion for dance with a goal to become an NBA Dancer. She then spent two years performing as a professional NBA Dancer for the Memphis Grizzlies in 2018 and the Detroit Pistons in 2019, thus achieving her goal.
Raya now works as a sideline reporter for D210Sports aired on Spectrum Cable covering the vast majority of Dallas teams.
